BBB A+ Rated · 20+ Years of Hurricane Claims · We work for you, the insured.

The adjuster your insurance company sends is there to settle the claim for the insurer. A public adjuster is licensed by the State of Florida to represent you instead. We inspect the property ourselves, measure and photograph every area of damage, price each repair, find the coverages in your policy that apply, and then present and negotiate the claim until it is resolved. You pay nothing unless your claim pays.

Gulf Breeze Storm Exposure

Hurricane Isaias hit Gulf Breeze hard. The National Weather Service's post-storm report recorded a 95 mph gust at a Gulf Breeze weather station and a 116 mph gust at a marine station on Santa Rosa Sound. Wind gusts peeled the roof from a family's home and wrecked two gas stations, flattening one station's pump canopy on Gulf Breeze Parkway. An old restaurant building on Highway 98 was left heavily damaged, and fallen trees blocked the Parkway near Gulf Breeze High School. Some customers in the area were still without power nearly a week after the storm.

The city sits on a narrow strip of land between Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound, and many homes are only a few blocks from open water. Hurricane winds crossing the bay reach those homes at full strength, so roofs, windows, screened porches and docks take the first hit. Once the building envelope is opened, rain blown sideways by the storm can soak a house from the attic down.

Gulf Breeze is mostly established neighborhoods, waterfront homes, condominiums and the businesses along the Parkway. Many waterfront owners carry a separate flood policy alongside their homeowners or condo coverage, and when wind and water arrive in the same storm, each part of the damage has to be matched to the right policy.

Gulf Breeze was among the communities hit hardest when Hurricane Isaias came ashore near Destin on October 9, 2026. Our team is also working with owners of heavily damaged homes and businesses in Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Oriole Beach, Navarre, Milton and Fort Walton Beach.

Gulf Breeze Hurricane Claim FAQs

Who pays for Isaias damage to a Gulf Breeze condo, the association or the unit owner?

Usually both, each for its own part. Under Florida's Condominium Act, the association's policy covers the building and common elements, while the unit owner's policy covers what is inside the unit: floor, wall and ceiling coverings, cabinets and countertops, appliances, electrical fixtures, water heaters, window treatments and personal property. We help Gulf Breeze associations and unit owners sort out which policy pays for each item and claim the full amount from both.

How much does a public adjuster charge in Florida for a Hurricane Isaias claim?

For a claim made within one year after the governor's state of emergency declaration, Florida caps a public adjuster's fee at 10% of the claim payment, and Santa Rosa County was included in the October 2026 declaration for Isaias. Outside that window the cap is 20%, and reopened or supplemental claims are capped at 20% of the new money paid. We are paid only from what your claim recovers: no payout, no fee.

Can a public adjuster still help if my insurer already made an offer on my Gulf Breeze claim?

Yes, as long as you have not signed a release that closes the claim. We compare the insurer's estimate with the damage we find, document what was missed or underpriced, and ask for the difference. Florida law allows a supplemental claim for additional damage or costs up to 18 months after the date of loss, which for Hurricane Isaias is the October 9, 2026 landfall.
